Servo Presses

BTD utilizes the latest technology in Servo Press equipment to improve our process efficiencies. Servo Press technology is fully computer programmable, allowing us to eliminate unnecessary ram movement. We can increase the stamping efficiency by programming the press stroke, press speed, and slide motion to the profile of the part. Servo press programmability allows us to control precise press speed at critical forming, piercing, and trimming positions in the ram rotation. This decreases tonnage to manufacture a part in a Servo Press compared to a mechanical press operation. A smaller press size also provides savings on the tooling cost to produce the part. BTD has 7 Servo Presses in total from 100 tons to 800 tons in size.
